A vintage recording, remastered on CD with three pieces:
Beethoven's Waldstein Sonata, Opus 53;
Ravel's "Scarbo" from Gaspard de la Nuit;
A (serial) Sonata by contemporary composer, Richard Hillert.
Carol performed this piece on WTTW, under the auspices of the International Society for Contemporary Music, and it won First Prize in a competition sponsored by the society. Later the composer dedicated it to Carol.
